How does WordPress maintenance work?
WHY CARE?

Why WordPress requires constant care

WordPress powers over 40% websites on the internet — and that is precisely why it is the most common target for attacks. With a neglected website, it’s not a question of „if”, but „when” something will go wrong.

🔓

Out-of-date plugins and themes

The most common entry point for hacking and bot takeovers. The risk increases with every week that passes.

    💥

    No backup

A hosting failure or a plugin error, and there’s no way to restore the website. A single failure could mean the loss of all data.

      🐌

      Decrease in speed

If the website „crashes” or loads slowly, customers will leave and Google will lower its ranking. Without proper maintenance, nobody will keep an eye on this.

        PROCESS

What does it look like? cooperation

Six steps from the initial conversation to ongoing, hassle-free care. We take care of the technical side — all you need to do is approve and let us know what you need.

        1
        Free audit
We’ll check your WordPress site: versions, plugins, backups, security and speed. You’ll receive a detailed list of what’s OK and what needs attention.
        2
        Seizure and securing
We carry out a full backup, organise access rights, update critical components and implement basic security measures. The website remains operational at all times.
        3
        Updates and copies
We set up a schedule for secure updates to WordPress, plugins and themes — with a backup taken before each change and the option to roll back.
        4
        24/7 monitoring
We check the website’s availability every few minutes. If something stops working, we’re the first to know and we take action — usually before your customer even notices.
        5
        Changes and support
You let us know by email or phone what needs changing — a new subpage, a banner, a content update or a minor correction. We’ll take care of it as part of your subscription.
        6
        Monthly report
Once a month, you’ll receive a clear report detailing what we’ve updated, how many times the website has been checked, what we’ve done, and what we plan to do next.
        YOUR CONTRIBUTION

What are you doing, and what are we doing?

WordPress management is designed to save you time, not create more work for you. That’s why we keep the roles simple.

        🙂

        What are you doing?

You run a business and decide what goes on the website. When something needs changing, you just send a one-sentence email or give us a call. That’s all there is to it.

        • No need to log in to the control panel
        • No need to keep an eye on updates
        • No need to wonder „who’ll fix it”
        🛠️

        What we do

Updates, backups, monitoring, security, speed optimisation, minor changes to the website and a monthly report.

        • We’re the first to respond when something urgent happens
        • We’d like to explain what we’ve done and why
        • One dedicated carer, not a helpline

Frequently Asked Questions regarding the start of our collaboration

How long does it take to take over a WordPress site?
Typically 2–5 working days from acceptance of the quote. We usually carry out the audit and create the first full backup within 24 hours, and we set up the rest of the configuration (monitoring, update schedule, reports) over the following days — without interrupting the website’s operation.
Do I need to know my way around WordPress to get started?
No. All you need to do is give us access to the website (or the hosting control panel). We’ll take care of all the technical aspects — you tell us what needs changing, we’ll do it, and we’ll send you a monthly report written in plain language.
Will you take over a website that someone else has been working on?
Yes. Most of the websites we manage were originally built by other developers. We start with an audit, sort out updates and backups, and if something has been done in a risky way — we point it out straight away and suggest improvements.
Does WordPress support mean a one-year contract?
No. The service is billed monthly, with no annual commitments and a one-month notice period. All access rights and backups remain your property.

Do you know what you need? Please submit your enquiry.
